The MistraSwitch NG system solution is designed for fully automated selection for up to 9 HPLC + bypass or UHPLC columns (up to 15kpsi) or 5 UHPLC columns + bypass (up to 15kpsi) under temperature control using a Jasco CO 4060 or CO 4065 column thermostat. The system consists of the MistraSwitch NG valve box which is equipped with two MayLab MS 6000 valve drives, and the MS 6000 NG interface.

Software drivers are available for:
- Agilent ChemStation 16 bit and 32 bit
- Agilent EZChrom Elite V 3.1.4 and higher
- Dionex Chromeleon V 6.4 and higher
- AB Sciex Analyst V 1.4.1 and higher (tested up to version 1.7)
- Thermo Scientific ChomQuest V 4.1 and higher
- Thermo Scientific Xcalibur V 1.4 and higher (tested up to version 4.0)
- Agilent EZChrom Elite V 3.1.4 and higher
The drivers named above are designed to report every error (e.g. faulty valve)
through message boxes and will stop the actual running method immediately.
MistraSwitch NG and GLP
(Good Laboratory Practice)
Each switching cycle is recorded in a log file, including action, time and date stamp due to GLP reasons for each day. By this means the systems activities will be manageable and reproducible for the operator.
MistraSwitch NG and Valve Configuration
For column selection two of the approved VICI Cheminert high- (up to 5000 psi) or ultra high (up to 20000 psi) pressure valves with 1/16” fittings and 0.25 mm or 0.4 mm port diameter are used in combination with two MayLab MS 5000 valve drives and the MS 5000 Interface in synchronous operation.
This unique column selection on the column in and output decreases carry over and increases the system´s performance.
The MistraSwitch NG system solution is available for selecting 4, 6, 8 or 10 HPLC columns for up to 5000psi.
For pressures up to 15000psi or 20000psi a 6 column selector is available.
The 10 column UHPLC selector can be operated up to 15.000psi
